Daily 2022-2023 Schedule Our Mission is to CONNECT - INQUIRE - EMPOWER through project work that impacts the world around us.

  • We have structured the school day to allow homeroom teachers to focus on core curriculum (Science, Math, English Language Arts, Social Studies) through project work during the first half of the day and still allow time for special classes (Visual Art, Music/Performing Art, Physical Education, Spanish, and Mandarin) in the afternoon.

  • There is added time between specials in the afternoon for core curriculum and/or project work. Students will continue to benefit from a 45 minute lunch and recess.

  • A new addition to the schedule is our “Genius Hour” which reserves 90 minutes a week to encourage and develop individual student passions and interests to explore more. For example this could be time for students to focus on coding, robotics, creative writing, piano practice, or learning a new skill from a guest speaker.

Summer 2022 Campus Improvements We are excited to share what’s been happening through the summer at Hampstead Academy!

  • Pre Kindergarten & Kindergarten rooms will have new flooring installed the last week of July 2022. The flooring is Reggio Emilia inspired and will be wood vinyl planking allowing for durability through projects, play, and naps.

  • The Pre-K and Kindergarten outdoor play space will be transformed into play stations to engage students' curiosity and problem solving skills.

  • Grades 3 & 4 Homerooms have had two ductless air conditioning units installed. Ms. St. Pierre’s students will be grateful for comfortable classrooms as the end of the summer lingers through September.

  • The STEAM Building Ramp has been under repair and will be reconstructed.

We will keep you up to date with progress on improvements via Social Media and a monthly Newsletter throughout the summer!
