We started the week with a holiday singalong with two of our board members, Vincent, and Robert on guitar with Mr. O on the drums!

Makerspace on Wednesday evening was filled with holiday cheer as friends made holiday wrappings and ornaments out of recycled materials. The ornaments are a symbol of the time spent together year after year. SIGN UP for the next Makerspace on January 4th 5PM-6PM.

30 bags filled and delivered for the Pelham Food Pantry! We used our STEM time to practice sorting and counting with our Pre-Kindergarten friends, while the oldest students of the academy traveled to the Pelham Food pantry to see why and how their donations make a difference in the lives of others.

Hampstead Academy's fundraising efforts are going to those in need while learning how to shop on a budget! Each Dreamer has been allotted $50 to spend on providing items of necessity for other children through Windham's Helping Hands. Students are selecting which items they will purchase to donate. Next week we will shop for the items within our budget and deliver the items on the same day! It’s amazing to see how the students worked so hard through the Fun Run to raise money and now apply their hard work and learning to make a positive impact in their community.

Our Pre-K friends learned about patterns by making red & white striped candy canes while listening to our winter concert song “Here comes Suzy Snowflake”

Rehearsing for our Winter performance of “Narnia”

Slime Time! Dreamers had to cut a recipe in half using their knowledge of fractions and experimented using different amounts of ingredients while observing various outcomes and results.
