Ms. Cope and Ms. Kumar’s Classroom Community The PreK/K class had a very busy week. The children made tie dyed shirts for tie dye day. The shirts were very colorful. Everyone is excited to see how the shirts turn out. Students showed off their team pride with a show of colors and team jerseys for Sports Day The children did an amazing job performing the 3 songs that were practiced for the last few months. The class was also a model for attendance of a performance. Teachers were very proud of their behavior. Slime and robots round out the fun of the week. Beach, tie dye and bubble day are greatly anticipated.

Ms. Matos’ Classroom Community This week In the grade 1/2 class we had so much fun exploring geoboards! We learned how to manipulate elastic bands into shapes, designs, even houses! We also worked with 3D wooden blocks to create a "block city". Some students included Jenga blocks, which turned into a class Jenga tournament! The students did such a great job practicing for the music performance and were so excited to show off their xylophone and singing skills! We also spent recess outdoors with the beautiful weather at the beginning of the week! The students are anticipating all of the fun activities planned to wrap up the school year including a pizza and ice cream party next week!

Ms. St. Pierre and Ms. Stone’s Classroom Community This week in Grade 3-5, we are making memories and enjoying each moment through the end of this school year! Thank you to each and every member of our class for their hard work, creativity, determination, and kindness. I am grateful to have watched you all flourish over this past school year. Each student has grown in immeasurable ways academically and personally. I am so proud of each of you! The students are not the only learners in this classroom - I owe each of them such gratitude for helping me learn and grow every day as well! Parents, with your support and love, we have shared a wonderful year together. Thank you for allowing me to be your child's teacher - this has been such a rewarding year of teaching and each of your children has such a special place in my heart.

Ms. Roberts’ Classroom Community Congratulations Class of 2022! We are so proud of you all. You will be missed.

Ms. Farrell's Music Classroom It has been a wonderful journey working with your children, and watching them grow with their confidence and musical talents this year. They are truly amazing! I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to share my love and passion for music and theater with them, and it is my hope that the spark that has been ignited will continue to burn within them long after they leave Hampstead Academy. Thank you for sharing your bright, talented children with me! Enjoy your summer!

Ms. Baker's Art Classroom This week our grades 1-5 all enjoyed the gorgeous weather AND art class outside. Armed with loads of chalk and some tough-bristled paint brushes, we created whimsical chalk drawings and tried a brush technique with the chalks to blend colors. We played “Squiggle” which is a creative drawing game and worked on a wide variety of chalk pictures.

Ms. Kumar's Spanish Classroom Gracias por un año increíble. We are honored to have had Ms. Kumar ending the year as our Spanish Teacher! The students learned so much during their time with you! We look forward to more projects, presentations, singing, and of course food!
