Highlights of Week
Stay updated on what’s happening in your Class DoJo and follow Hampstead Academy Events & News Hello HA Families, I must begin with a huge THANK YOU! Observing and working with your children has been a joy this week! Here's what I have noticed so far:
Impeccable Manners
Amazing Kindness
Patience and Flexibility
True Excitement to be back here
This week I've been getting to know your children in STEM class, but also in their Homeroom classes. It's a wonderful collaborative effort with all the teachers and great leadership that allows us to CONNECT. We are connecting through our handprint project and life sized self portraits. Grades 1-5 were exploring the best ways to measure distance. Our Pre-K STEAMers are learning about primary colors and directions with the Bee Bots.
I hope you all have a restful and fun holiday weekend!
Mrs. Cummings, Lead STEAM/PBL Teacher
Our PreK friends explored more in the new outdoor space!
Our first Assembly as Hampstead Academy STEAMERS. “This is our school family." Each classroom has a Rock Jar to encourage recognition of positivity, ingenuity, kindness, and teamwork. When the rock jars are filled, the school earns a Rock Party!
Our PreK classroom had their very first STEM coding class with Ms. Cummings!
3rd grade joined Ms. Matos’ class for reading buddies! We LOVE working together!
Ms. St. Pierre's classroom talked about inventions, designing inventions, and creating prototypes as well as wrote about the jobs they would like in the classroom while at the same time exploring word qualification.
A cool way to connect at the end of a successful first week of school! Thank You Charlee’s Sweet Treats!
